280 Cruise Ship Calls in 2022
Port Hamburg has released its cruise ship schedule for 2023, showing a record number of 283 calls.
The port's schedule lists all ships in links with cruises going to or leaving from Hamburg. With three cruise terminals, Hamburg is the starting point for most sea voyages from and to Germany.
A record 1,204,089 passengers started their cruise trip in Hamburg last year in 2022. The 2022 season closed with a positive outlook, with 280 calls.
The 2023 season will see a number of new ships calling at Hamburg, including the AIDAcosma, the largest cruise ship ever to visit the port. The season will also see the return of some old favorites, such as the Queen Mary 2 and the Celebrity Eclipse.
